Farm Help

We always appreciate the extra help with cleaning barns, feeding, watering and grooming the animals, along with building eco-friendly animal shelters, fencing and other sustainable farm projects.

All volunteers having direct contact with the animals at our Sanctuary must hold an elevated respect for animals and all life. 

 

Fundraising

A great way to help the Eden Farm Animals and to raise the level of public awareness regarding animal welfare issues, as well as promoting a humane vegetarian or vegan lifestyle is to hold a fundraiser for us.

Events

Vegan dinners, live entertainment, farm tours, sustainability workshops and much more! Volunteers of all backgrounds are needed to help make our events a success.

 

Grant Writing

We are in need of experienced grant writers to research and write grants. Grants are an important role in the continuation of our Farm Animal Sanctuary. 

Receiving grants also allows us to to fund future projects designed to benefit a larger number of farm animals needing rescue and care.

 

Animal Transportaion

From little baby chicks to larger animals such as cows and horses, animal transporters, both locally here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as well as nation wide, are always needed.

There are animals in auctions, feedlots, and other dire situations awaiting rescue all over the country. Transporting animals to our Sanctuary can make the crucial difference between life or death for an animal. If you would like to volunteer as an animal transporter, please let us know the size of your vehicle and/or trailer, where you are located and how far you are willing to travel.
