Nestled in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula on 10 acres, Eden Farm Animal Sanctuary is a safe-haven for farm animals in need, as well as a place of peace for the community to visit, learn and heal from the animals, while raising the level of respect for all life.
Our organic standards keep the animals, humans and the earth healthy and happy. Toxic chemicals are avioded in use with the animals, the shelters and the land we reside upon. The animals are fed natural, organic, non-processed diets and are treated with holistic therapies whenever possible.
The Sanctuary houses, heals and cares for a limited number of farm animals considered livestock who are in need. Once the animals arrive, they can rest assured that they are finally safe and forever home. The rescued animals become lifetime residents to live, heal, play, learn and teach. The animals of Eden play a great role in educating the public in regards to respecting and cherishing life, as well as proper and humane care for their species.
Once our rescued animals have been healed, they in turn heal the people who come to visit the Sanctuary. Many of our animals are full of love and have wonderful healing qualities to share with humans.
